This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the Great Gate (Sangedatsumon) of Zōjō-ji Temple in the Shiba district of Tokyo, with several rickshaws parked in the foreground. This impressive two-storied gate was originally built in 1622. It is the only original wooden structure of the temple to have survived the air raids of World War II, making it an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
