Munich Germany Karlstor Gate Cityscape Street Scene People Vtg. Photo 19thC.

This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a bustling street scene at the Karlstor, one of Munich's historic city gates, in the late 19th century. The Karlstor was originally part of Munich's medieval fortifications built in the 14th century. It was later redesigned in the neo-Gothic style seen here, serving as a major entrance to the old town and leading to the popular square known as Karlsplatz or Stachus.
