This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the massive structure of The Great Wheel in London, with railway tracks and landscaped ground in the foreground. This giant Ferris wheel was constructed for the Empire of India Exhibition at Earls Court, opening to the public in 1895. Standing 94 meters tall, it was designed to rival the original Ferris Wheel from Chicago's 1893 World's Fair and was a popular London attraction for over a decade.
