WW1 Troops Cleaning Harness Pond Soldiers Military Uniforms Vtg. Photo
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a group of World War I soldiers are gathered at the edge of a pond or river, diligently cleaning their leather harnesses and other equipment. Maintaining gear was a constant and vital task during the war, essential for the reliability of transport and cavalry units which heavily depended on horses. This candid moment captures a routine aspect of military life away from the front lines.
