White Star Line RMS Teutonic Library Ornate Interior Ocean Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the ornate first-class library aboard the White Star Line's ocean liner, the RMS Teutonic. The room is elegantly appointed with decorative columns, upholstered seating, writing desks, and large glass-fronted bookcases. Launched in 1889, the RMS Teutonic was a celebrated vessel of its time, briefly holding the Blue Riband for the fastest westbound Atlantic crossing. This library showcases the luxury travel experience of the era.
