Venice San Giobbe Canal 3 Arch Bridge Gondolas Gondoliers Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the Ponte dei Tre Archi over the Cannaregio Canal in Venice, Italy. People are seen on the fondamenta (walkway) and in gondolas on the water. Located in the Cannaregio sestiere near San Giobbe, this is the only remaining three-arched bridge in Venice and a notable landmark. The image captures a typical scene of daily life in the city during this period.
