This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a bustling city scene in Znamenski Square, St. Petersburg, Russia, featuring the prominent equestrian monument to Tsar Alexander III. In the background stands the Znamenskaya Church, with trams and pedestrians filling the cobblestone square. Now known as Vosstaniya Square, this historic location has changed significantly, as the church was demolished in the 1940s.
