This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows several Royal Air Force biplanes of the No. 601 (County of London) Squadron fly in formation over the countryside. The aircraft are seen from the perspective of another plane in the flight. No. 601 Squadron was part of the Auxiliary Air Force and was nicknamed 'The Millionaires' Squadron' due to the number of wealthy men who initially served as pilots.
