This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the Pennsylvania Railroad's Broad Street Station in Philadelphia is shown with its impressive clock tower and Gothic Revival architecture. The street below is active with horse-drawn carriages and an early trolley. Opened in 1881, this station was the main passenger terminal for the Pennsylvania Railroad in the city. It was a major Philadelphia landmark until its demolition in 1953.
