Paris Palais du Trocadero River Seine Exposition Architecture Vtg. Photo 20thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a view of the original Palais du Trocadéro in Paris, as seen from across the River Seine with the Pont d'Iéna bridge in the foreground. The palace, with its distinctive twin minarets, was constructed for the 1878 Exposition Universelle. It served as a major landmark on the Chaillot hill before being demolished in 1937 to make way for the modern Palais de Chaillot.
