New York PyraCaptured German Helmets WWI Military Vtg. Photo WW1

This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a massive pyramid made of thousands of captured German spiked helmets, known as Pickelhauben, is on display. This structure was part of a Victory Loan Drive held in New York City in 1919, following the end of World War I. The display was intended to symbolize the Allied victory and encourage the purchase of war bonds to help pay off war debt.
