Naples Italy Strada di Santa Lucia Cityscape Tram Laundry Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a bustling street scene along the Strada di Santa Lucia in Naples, Italy. The image captures daily life with a horse-drawn tram, vendors, and laundry drying near the waterfront below the Pizzofalcone hill. The historic Santa Lucia district, long associated with fishermen, was a vibrant and densely populated part of the city. This view predates the major urban renewal projects that significantly altered this coastline.
