London Palace Westminster Houses Parliament River Thames Boats Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the iconic Palace of Westminster, home to the Houses of Parliament, as seen from across the River Thames. In the foreground, several barges are moored, while a passenger boat travels along the river. The Palace is a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture, largely rebuilt in the mid-19th century after a fire, and remains the seat of the UK's government.
