This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a group of gentlemen archers gathered for a competition in Leamington Spa. The men are seen with their longbows and targets on a large field, with a grand building and tents in the background. Royal Leamington Spa was a fashionable Victorian spa town, and archery was a popular and genteel sport during this era, with societies like the Royal Leamington Spa Archery Society hosting major national events.
