Glenorchy Lake Wakatipu Humboldt Range Mountains Pier Jetty Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a wooden pier extends into Lake Wakatipu from the shore at Glenorchy, New Zealand. In the background, the cloud-shrouded, snow-capped peaks of the Humboldt Range rise dramatically. Glenorchy, located at the northern end of the lake, has long served as a base for exploring the region's spectacular natural landscapes and hiking trails.
