France WW1 Car Towed Mud Soldiers Military Vehicle Vtg. Photo
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows a military car, stuck deep in the mud, is being towed by another vehicle with the help of soldiers. This scene was typical on the Western Front in France during World War I. The constant shelling and rain created treacherous, muddy conditions that severely hampered the movement of early motorized vehicles, making them frequently bogged down.
