China Yangtze River 3 Gorges Mountains Cliffs Landscape Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the dramatic, steep cliffs of one of the gorges along the Yangtze River in China. The view from the water level captures the immense scale of the surrounding mountains. The Yangtze is the longest river in Asia and a historically vital transportation route. This photograph captures the natural beauty of the famous Three Gorges region before it was dramatically altered by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam.
