Bologna Italy 2 Towers Asinelli Garisenda Leaning Landmark Vtg. Photo 19thC.
This quality reprint of a vintage photo shows the famous Two Towers of Bologna, Italy: the taller Asinelli and the shorter, leaning Garisenda. The adjacent Church of Saints Bartholomew and Gaetano is also visible. These towers, constructed in the 12th century, are the most prominent of the many medieval towers that once defined Bologna's skyline and remain the city's most iconic symbol.
